The next concert at Sutton House will be on Sunday 11th May 2014 at 7pm.
Nancy Dahn (violin) and Timothy Steeves (piano) perform Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata, Bach’s Sonata No. 3 and the Duo by Murray Schafer, Canada’s leading composer.
Duo Concertante have been playing together since 1997 when they burst onto the stage with rave reviews. Since then they have played in major concert halls in England (including the Wigmore Hall), the U.S.A. (Carnegie Hall), their native Canada and China. Nancy and Timothy have received the Touring Performers Award (Contact East), as well as Memorial University’s prestigious President’s Award for Outstanding Research, and were named NLAC Artist of the Year in May 2010.

The Duo is receiving touring support from both the Canada Council for the Arts and MusicNL.
Tickets: £10; concessions (proof required) £8; people under 26, disabled people and their carers free.
The café/bar will be open before the concert and during the interval.

After two previous sell-out concerts at Sutton House, the Roskell Piano Trio returns to play trios by Haydn (“Gypsy”) and Schubert (No. 2), alongside works by Bartók and Armenian composers.
